Hello potential persons for taking a gap year! I know that it Is difficult to decide what to do next after finishing high school so, here there are some reasons why you should choose taking a gap year! Hope I can convince you!

1- IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO HAVE A BREAK BETWEEN HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY

High school is a huge step and finish it is a mix of emotions. You are now an adult and you have a lot of responsibilities. Starting the university is all a new challenge. Students who arrive to university after travelling around the world are more self-confident than who didn't. You accumulate intimate knowledge of the world through a wide range of life experience. You return as a more open minded and a most sociable person!

2- YOU NEED TO EXPERIENCE NEW THINGS

To go around the world, or only to one place, alone or with friends, is always a step forward from your ordinary lifer. You learn other cultures, you meet new people, you do things that are far away from your routine. It's always healthy to sometimes make something new to enrich you as a person (mental and physical). This is about accumulating intimate knowledge of the world through a wide range of life experiences.

3- YOU SEE THE WORLD WITH AN OTHER PERSPECTIVE

Where ever you go, as a tourist or as a volunteer, you are going to see things you never expected. This new experience of unfamiliar cultures offers you profound lessons, especially if you are curious and a motivates young person. You ate going to realize all the different ways of life they are. You are going to understand more the world you are lining and start to really live an enjoy your life with optimism!

4- YOU WON'T HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO DO IT

Because when you are going to start university, you are going to be conctentrated 100%. You are going to decide and preparate your life. Then you are going to be an adult, and who knows, get married and have childre. Also, if you don't have a clear idea of what you are going to do next. Students who have grown up in a structures environment with a clearly social, athletic and academic goals, if they take a gap year this will give them valuable personal freedom.

5- LANGUAGES

If you go to any country, is always possible that they don't speak the same language that you. There are always different versions. It's good to go to a country which the first language is the one you would like to improve. But, how about learning a new one? Why would you be comfortable with only 1 or 2 languages? It's always great to have many options, it makes you more cult and this could be useful for life. Also this is a valuable skill for young people in today's interconnected world.

6- IT IS STH REALLY VALUABLE TO HAVE ON YOUR CV

The more you travel, the more you experience, the more you challenge yourself. This will help you to do whatever you want to do next. The CV is something important to your work life, this will represent you and what you had done. The more interesting, complete, absorbing it is, the more attention you will get. Also, they will realize the kind of person you are, someone who is really motivated and choose to have the best form for learning genuine education!
